Wow, I am impressed that in one meeting you experienced and have articulated what makes the DFMC experience so amazing, the friendship and support from your fellow runners and from the incredible DFMC staff, and learning first hand from scientists how the money you raise is being used for innovative cancer research. All together these things make the whole experience so inspirational and enjoyable that sometimes it is hard to believe how much good you are doing. It is hard work, but it doesn’t seem like it.
I can’t believe Boston filled up so fast. Can you imagine if someone had qualified last month and was too busy celebrating to sign up immediately and were shut out? Oh the humanity. And once word of this gets out, next year Boston will fill up even earlier. It better not get into Covered Bridges territory.
